Walter “Ray” Garchow, age 57 of Kingsley, MI passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at home. Ray was born to Walter M. Garchow and Belinda F. Hudson, in Dunn, North Carolina on September 5, 1964. He graduated from Forest Area High School, then attending TBA Career Tech Center for a welding career. Ray owned and operated his own welding business for the past 35 years. He was an avid hunter and fishman, he enjoyed his fishing trips to Canada. Ray most recently had a trip with his close friends touring the waterfalls of the upper peninsula of Michigan. Ray is survived by his siblings, Terrance Martin Garchow, of Pennsylvania, Jesse D. Garchow, of Kalkaska, a sister, Marla Diane Garchow, of South Boardman, and stepmom, S. Diane Garchow, of South Boardman; his nephews, Ryan Garchow, Tyler Garchow, Joshua Garchow; his nieces, Autumn Garchow, Mikayla (Korey) Hague, RaeAnn (Craig) Harvey, and Raven Garchow; friends, Madison Williams and Ayshya Tebos and his dogs, Jack and Coco. He was preceded in passing by father, Walter Martin Garchow and mother, Belinda F Hudson-Garchow. Cremation arrangements provided by Wolfe-O’Neill Funeral Home, our family serving yours.
