Virginia Lea Bowman, 78 of Kalkaska, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Care, memory care unit. She was born on August 28, 1943, in Rockford, Michigan the daughter of the late, Charles and Dorothy Parks. Ginny enjoyed playing cards, canning, gardening, and spending time with her family. Surviving are her four children, Brenda (Kevin) Gould of Lakeview, Barb (Kent) Miller of Kalkaska, Sandy Baynham (Tom Weideman) of Cheboygan, Chris (Jason) Harlan of Kalkaska; eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; two sisters Charlene (Ralph) Harmelink of Grand Rapids, and Dorothy Singer of Belmont. Virginia was preceded in passing by her husband of 32 years, Tom Bowman; brothers Bob Parks, George Parks, and Charles Parks; a sister Phyllis Genautis, a granddaughter, Shanda Rhoat, and a great-grandson, Neal Guss, Jr. The family would like to thank the memory care staff at Kalkaska Long Term Care and Heartland Hospice for their care for mom.
