R. Dale Majeski
April 30, 1932 - September 10, 2019
R. Dale “Poe” Majeski, age 87, passed away at his home on Bear Lake Road, Kalkaska on September 10, 2019. He was born on April 30, 1932 in Lansing to the late Frank and Ruth Majeski. Dale was a Korean War Army Veteran who served honorably. Later he graduated Skilled Trades School as a professional bricklayer mason. He was a leading member of the Lansing Power Squadron. Dale retired from General Motors, Oldsmobile Forge Plant in Lansing and later moved to Bear Lake in Kalkaska County. He was an active member of the Bear Lake Christian Church, was elected and held the office of Bear Lake Twp. Trustee and Supervisor. Dale was also a member of the Bear Lake Firefighters Association, and proud member of the NRA. He loved God and Country. He was a true Patriot and proud American. Dale is survived by his wife, Natalie; his son, Michael (Mary) of Arizona; daughter, MaryBeth (Ray) of Michigan; grandchildren, Amanda of Arizona, Aaron and Nathan of Michigan. Proceeding Dale in death was his first wife, Charlene “Moe” of 37 years. Dale will live on in our hearts forever, he will be truly missed by all his family and friends. The Kalkaska VFW Post 8684 will provide military honors on October 4th at 1:00 pm at Excelsior Twp. Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Wolfe-O’Neill Funeral Home, our family serving yours.
