Kent Allan Copenhaver

April 24, 1960 - December 10, 2021

Kent Allan Copenhaver, age 61 born on April 24, 1960, to the late Jack and Norma of Pontiac passed on December 10, 2021. After graduating from Pontiac Northern High School, he pursued a career with General Motors. After retiring from GM, Kent went on to start his own photography business and started working for Thunder Roads Magazine of Michigan. Here he revived his love for riding motorcycles and shortly found himself hanging around the Pontiac Warthogs M/C. In 2011 he moved to Traverse City with the love of his life Roberta Gauthier. In 2017 he became a full patch member of the Warthogs M/C Traverse City Chapter (72). He is survived by his fiancé Roberta Gauthier, his son Austin Copenhaver, and his daughter Savannah Copenhaver, and “WFFW” A celebration of life ride and luncheon will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022, at the Traverse City Warthogs Club house located at 1022 Center Street, Traverse City MI, 49686. Registration for the ride will be from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Kickstands up at 11:00 a.m. for a police escorted ride up the Old Mission Peninsula. (There is a $20 registration donation to cover the cost of the event) Food and beverages will be served after, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
