Jerry Lynn Dilley

October 21, 1944 - April 8, 2022

Jerry Lynn Dilley, age 77 of Kalkaska, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 8, 2022, at home with his wife and son, Darrel, by his side. He was born to the late, Karl and Lucille (White) Dilley in Mt. Clemens, Michigan on October 21, 1944. He married Charlotte L. Kuhn, on June 2, 1967. They were married for 54 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus graduating 4th degree. Jerry was in the United States Army honorably discharged, in 1971. Jerry loved to hunt, snowmobile, and fish. He and his wife have lived here in Kalkaska for 42 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte L. Dilley of Kalkaska, two sons, Darrel R. Dilley of South Boardman, Kevin L. (Faye) Dilley of Cadillac, and a daughter Colleen M. (Adelmo) Jaramillo of Petoskey. Two grandsons, Brendon Dilley and Seth Dilley of Cadillac, and two granddaughters, Delaney Jaramillo and Erin Jaramillo of Petoskey. His brother Richard (Barbara) Dilley of Rochester Hills and his sister Wanda Topous of Traverse City. Jerry was preceded in passing by grandson, Devon Dilley, brothers Roger Dilley, Larry Dilley and Lowell Dilley, and sisters Joella Dilley and Ila Potapa. A private family graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, michaeljfox.org, dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson’s Disease.
