On Friday, October 2, 2020, Gale Ann Dimon, of Kalkaska, passed suddenly on went home to her Lord and Savior and beloved son Joshua. She passed with her family at her side at Beaumont Hospital in Farmington Hills . Gale was born June 27, 1960, in Vigo county, Indiana to the late Jack and Hester (Keegan) Moore. Gale Was known for her compassion, her strength, sense of humor, her big smile and her huge heart. She will be missed by all who knew her and the many lives she touched. Gale was a nurse for over 25 years which included being Director of Nursing for the last 12 years in the Metro Detroit area. Gale leaves behind her beloved husband, of 37 years, Bruce Donald Dimon; her children Rachael(Don) Newman-Newhouse, of Novi Michigan, Mike (Ashley)Newman, of Uniontown Pennsylvania; step-children, Dan (Danielle) Dimon of Kalkaska, and Michael (Yvonne) Dimon of South Boardman; eleven grandchildren, whom she loved very much, Keegan Knox of Novi, Mason and Hannah Newman, of Uniontown Pennsylvania, Daniel Jr, Shelby and Zachary Dimon of Kalkaska, Julia and Kylee Moore of Kalkaska, Madison Dimon of Fife Lake, Levi and Chloe Dimon of South Boardman; sister-in-law, Colleen Dimon, whom she was very close and had a special bond with, as well as Colleen’s children whom she helped raise they were like her own, Nicole (Jamel) Taylor, of Lansing, and Adam Taylor, of Bay City; two brothers, Harold (Karen) Rooksberry of Buckley, and Del Ray (Karyl) Moore of Suttons Bay; two brother-in-laws, Brian (Amy) Dimon of Williamsburg and Brad (Tonie) Dimon of Pennsylvania. Gale loved and cherished her nieces and nephews; Heather, Robert, Shawna, Dustin, Spencer, Kalvin, Kamille, Jack, Karylanne, and Victor. Gale leaves behind many close friends, Patricia Kulbartz, Wanda Thayne, Tina Groleau, Joy Beresford ,Sarah Lindsley and her boys Derick and Joseph Reedy, Holly Brooks Sloan, Christa (Ray)Kite and Angila Greenlaw. Gale was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Bruce Dimon, her brothers, Jesse and Jackie Moore and her in laws Donald and Elza Dimon. Gale loved nothing more then being around her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. They were the light of her life . Thank you to everyone who loved our mother as much as we did . Due to COVID-19 we are having a private graveside service at Oliver Township Cemetery, mom will be laid to rest by her son, Josh. In the summer of 2021 we will be having a Dimon Pig Roast , party and memorial for our mom. Arrangements provided by Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home, our family serving yours.
