    Frederick C Pulaski

    November 7, 1940 - January 26, 2022

    Frederick C. Pulaski, of Traverse City, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, with his daughter, Janice, at his side. He was born November 7, 1940 to Alphonse and Ann Pulaski in Hamtramck and moved to Buckley in 1952. He was the oldest of seven children. Fred met Nancy Egan and they were married January 13, 1962. She preceded him in death on December 15, 1990. Fred and Nancy had four children, Nancy (Mike) Morairty, Janice Pulaski, Cheryl (Scott) Harkleroad, and Susan (David) McGuire; nine grandchildren, Michael Morairty, Tracey (James) DeVoe, Haley Morairty, Stephanie Piccirilli, Adam Groosbeck, Zachary Harkleroad, Blake Alexander, Derek Alexander, and Ian McGuire; and four great grandchildren. Fred met Sherryle King while in Munson for surgery and they were married October 13, 2001 and in so doing gained a stepson, Keith King. She also preceded him in death on October 15, 2014. Fred retired from the US Postal Service and worked at the Schimek Orchard shaking cherry trees. Additionally, he worked for Ed helping at his automotive shop, volunteered at Father Fred for many years. Everyone knew him by his sense of humor. Fred was very loving and kind to family and friends and would help anyone with anything, from driving people to the store or appointments to home or auto repairs. He loved taking pictures of nature and the wildlife around his house. There was a frog that seemed to come back every year. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 4 from 6-8pm with a vigil service at 7:30pm at St. Mary Hannah Catholic Church, 2912 M113, Kingsley. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 5 at 11am at the church. In lieu of flowers, funds may be directed to St. Mary Hannah Capital Campaign Fund or Trinity Lutheran Church Stained Glass Window Fund. Arrangements were made by Wolfe-O’Neill Funeral Home, our family serving yours.
