Carl C. Ingersoll, age 84 of Kalkaska, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 1, 2022. Carl was born on August 21, 1937, in Fife Lake, Michigan, to the late, Roy and Rose (Helsel) Ingersoll. He married Edith M. Bourne on August 4, 1962, in Kalkaska, Michigan. He was Springfield Township Treasure for 44 years, on the Kalkaska Memorial Hospital Board for 44 years. Carl retired from Comstock Construction as a heavy equipment operator after 25 years. Carl loved his tractors, and the Springfield tractor show. He enjoyed going to the Senior Center with Edith, spending time with his family and deer hunting. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 60 years, Edith Ingersoll; four children, Michael Ingersoll, Myron (Gail) Ingersoll, Deanna (Larry) Helsel, and Dale (Pam) Ingersoll; twelve grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; one brother, Roy Lee Ingersoll and a sister, Ginger Marrow; several nieces and nephews. Carl was preceded in passing by eleven siblings. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 12, 2022, at Wolfe-O’Neill Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
