Billy Ray Jaynes

Billy Ray Jaynes, age 64, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 1, 2022, with his loving wife by his side. He was born on June 26, 1957, to the late, John and Matilda (Lumpford) Jaynes in Detroit, Michigan. Billy Ray married Cynthia K. Kogowski on April 17, 1979, in Goodells, Michigan. They have been married for almost 43 years. He was a member of the Bear Lake Christian Church for 13 years. Billy was a truck driver, also farming clean, organic foods in his retirement. He loved traveling with his family. Billy was a kind, loving, and wonderful husband and father. He would do anything for anyone. He is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia Jaynes; daughters, Jessica Lynn (Nat White) Jaynes of Traverse City, Michigan, and Rebecca Ann Jaynes of Kalkaska, Michigan; siblings, Gathel (Charles) Bradford of Marysville, Michigan, Donald Jaynes of Marine City, Michigan, and Terrie Schemansky, of Roseville, Michigan; and his loving dog, Bella Blue. He was preceded in passing by a brother, Johnny Jaynes, Jr. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at Wolfe-O’Neill Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022, at Bear Lake Christian Church at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. until the time of service.
