Ronald "Ron" Fall, Jr. age 29 of Kalkaska, Michigan passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 13, 2022. The family of Ronald Albert Fall Jr. is deeply saddened to announce the sudden and unexpected passing of their dear son, grandson, father, nephew, cousin, and faithful friend. A kind and gentle soul, willing to give of himself freely. Always a helping hand without being asked. Always there in a time of need. Ronald graduated from Forest Area Schools in 2011 where he passionately participated on the Football and Baseball teams a dedicated and fearless competitor. Giving his all for his School and fellow teammates. He loved Forest Area Schools his classmates his teachers and faculty. He grew up playing little league baseball and T-ball. He Attended TBA in Traverse City studying welding and becoming highly proficient in the trade. Ronald loved snow mobile racing, football, baseball, and moto cross racing, winning many trophies and awards. His father Ronald A. Fall Sr. always by his side cheering him on. Moving on from his welding trade Ronald mastered in the building trades where he focused on perfection and Integrity. Loving what he did he created his own business, Great North Contracting in December of 2018 to present. His heart and soul was committed to his employees, partners, and clients. Building new homes and renovating old ones being their focus. Ronald became a driving force in the creation of Elderberry Farms in Traverse City Michigan for over two years. Whether it was planting elderberries or blueberries, installing the irrigation system or acting as contractor and chief builder he did it all with an undying passion and professionalism making sure that every screw and nail was perfectly placed investing his blood sweat and yes..tears, into this project of which he was so proud of. Ronald was married to Samantha Harris (his estranged wife) on October 14, 2017. Their son, one year old Cameron Eli Fall by their side. Cameron Eli Fall now six years old was Ronald's pride and joy indeed his world. They both together enjoyed the great out of doors. RV'ing, camping, swimming, playing games, waterparking, fishing or hiking was just a few of their past times. Ronald loved his son Cameron passionately. Ronald Albert Fall Jr. is survived by his son Cameron Eli Fall of Traverse City Michigan; his mother, Joanna Harwood of Auburn Indiana; his Father Ronald A. Fall Sr. of Detroit; his stepfather Craig Harwood of South Boardma; his brothers Andrew Harwood and Cody Harwood; along with his sister Brianna Harwood of South Boardman Michigan; his grandparents: Grandma and Pa Pa Robert and Roberta Graff of Kalkaska Michigan; his Maw Maw Martha Whitney and Paw Paw Mark Whitney of Kinderhook Michigan. his uncles: Joseph R. Graff of Kalkaska Michigan, and his uncle Joshua R. Graff and wife Carla Behel Graff of Huntsville Alabama.; also having numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Ronald was preceded in death by his Angelic sister Jalynn Miller, his great grandmother Merrie L. McGlenn Schmidt, his great grandfather Albert Fredrick Schmidt, his uncle Albert Fredrick Schmidt II., and uncle Richard M. Schmidt. And thus the Apple of our eye has wilted, the spring in our step has diminished, The air we breathe seems a little heavier, Our days not so bright. Our nights a little longer. Our table where we broke bread holds an empty seat where you blessed us with your presence. We Move forward with confidence in the promise that we shall all see HIS face one day. Rest in Peace Dear Ronald A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m. with a visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home until the time of service.
