Robert Graham “Bob” Davis, 85, passed away peacefully at home on October 4, 2025, in Boyne City. Born on April 22, 1940, in Pontiac. Bob lived a full and vibrant life rooted in love for his family, and a passion for the game of golf. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. Stationed in France. A devoted husband to Rosaria “Rosie” Davis, Bob cherished their time together—especially their shared breakfasts, which became a treasured daily ritual. Their bond was one of enduring love and mutual respect. Bob was the proud father of eight children: Andrea Schovey, Erika Davis, Rachel Kenwabikisie, Randi Davis, Regina Sweet, Ashley Davis, Andrew Davis, and Kristen Davis. His role as a father was central to his identity; he was the rock and foundation of his family. His legacy continues through 22 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren who will carry forward the values he instilled—resilience, loyalty, and love for family. Beyond his devotion to family and country, Bob found joy in many pursuits. He was an avid bowler and hunter but found his greatest passion on the golf course. Known by many as a golf legend, Bob’s love for the sport was unmatched. Whether playing competitively or simply enjoying a round with friends or family, golf brought him immense happiness and camaraderie. Bob’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His unwavering support and steadfast love created a strong foundation for those around him. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him and serve as a guiding light for generations to come.
