Lucy Belle Elliott, 82, of Fife Lake, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, May 16, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 4, 1944, in Fife Lake, the daughter of the late Hubert and Malissa (Ingersoll) Beckwith. Lucy was the youngest of 11 siblings, all of whom she loved dearly and remained very close to throughout her life. Lucy married the love of her life, Donald Elliott, on May 5, 1962, in Fife Lake. Together they shared 46 wonderful years of marriage while raising their two sons, Hubert Elliott and Brian Elliott. Lucy deeply cherished her boys and was grateful to have them living nearby throughout the years. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Joseph Rouse, Jesstin Elliott, and Heidi (Gerry) Lewicki. Her heart grew even fuller with the arrival of her great-grandchildren, Hayden Lewicki, Elijah Lewicki, and Emerson Elliott, who brought her endless joy and will carry on her memory through the love and time they shared together. Lucy was loved by all who knew her. She enjoyed taking car rides, playing scratch-off tickets, and bird watching — especially cardinals, which always held a special place in her heart. She was known for her wonderful home cooking, particularly her handmade pies and baked goods that were always a favorite at family gatherings and community events. Lucy also enjoyed old country music and was especially fond of Elvis Presley, particularly when Don would charm her with his striking impersonations. During the summer months, Lucy could often be found sitting on her front porch, welcoming family and friends with warmth, laughter, and stories from years gone by. Lucy was preceded in death by her parents; all of her siblings; many dear family members and friends; and her beloved husband, Don. Per Lucy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at her home in Fife Lake on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to bring a dish to pass and a favorite memory to share in honor of Lucy’s life and legacy.
