Kendra S. Watson

Kendra S. Watson, 69, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2013 at her home in Williamsburg. She was born on November 15, 1944 to the late Kenneth and Ruth Nadine (Napier) Miller in Albion.

Kendra married Ron Watson April 3, 1993 in Traverse City and together they enjoyed life. Known for being weekend campers in the fifth-wheel, they were spontaneous and captured the joy of adventure. Whether it was driving to Mackinaw for a cup of coffee or touring Shipshewana in Amish country they had fun. Kendra’s hobbies included photography and quilting. She loved shots of eagles, which her favorite was a picture with 6 eagles in a tree near Kingsley, and flowers.

Surviving Kendra is her husband and partner, Ron; children, Barbara Easterwood of Albion, Thomas (Casey) Passmore of Alabama, Matt (Paula) Watson of Traverse City, and Stephanie (Arnie) Stittes of Rapid City; grandchildren, Dakota Adaire, Dylan, Wyatt, Logan and Matelynn Passmore; and her little toy poodle, Sassy.

Kendra was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Miller.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 11:00 am at Wolfe-O’Neill Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Burial of cremains will be in the spring at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Albion.

Arrangements were made by Wolfe-O’Neill Funeral Home, our family serving yours.
